“You know me, I’m a drama queen!;)”

This sentence alone is capable to describe the mood that prevailed during Tarja’s concert in the course of the Shadow Shows series at the Batschkapp Frankfurt on 10^th October 2016, as it reveals the general enthusiasm in the hall, Tarja’s tendency to not take herself too seriously and additionally hints at the drama that constantly prevails on stage and is already reflected in the songs.

The new opener „No Bitter End” already made clear what a bundle of energy Tarja still is and how effortlessly the Finn binds the audience. She was adored in an almost cultic fashion by the audience, but it definitely inspired her to the extent that the self-proclaimed “Old Bitch” seemed to be sincerely moved and apparently regarded it as an incredible joy to perform in Frankfurt in front of exactly this audience after 20 years on stage.

FemME Fatale – A hot weekend in the Netherlands!

Femke Fatale.

It got really hot from September 23^rd to September 25^th 2016 at the Female Metal Event III. This was not only due to the front women but also due to the corresponding men, obviously the music as well as the fountains of fire for the headliner.

For the first time, it wasn’t the organizer Ton Dekkers who hosted the festival this year but the tattoo-model Femke Fatal. She was able to fill those big footsteps and did a great job with announcing every single one of the 26 participating bands who performed, as per usual, on two stages. The large audience, which had the opportunity to enjoy this event for three days in a row, was clearly satisfied.
